- I am happily married to my high school sweetheart.
- I have a deep love for Star Trek and movies based on Jane Austen novels, but I'm pretty sure I love Star Trek more.

- I am currently obsessed with The Hunger Games. Peeta is my favorite character.
- I want to write stories like Christopher Nolan's.
- I'm an introvert.
- My favorite music includes: Switchfoot, Coldplay, The Fray, Lifehouse, Needtobreathe, and David Cook.
- I have lived in Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee. I have spent the majority of my life in the last two states.
- I majored in TV production and double minored in psychology and marketing.
About my writing:
- I have been writing stories since first grade.
- I finished a novel in high school, but was not satisfied with it, so I kept working on revisions for it. I finished it again after college. Still not satisfied. I'm revising it again. Aside from this, I have only finished a handful of short stories.
- I can't write stories in order.
- Even though I have been writing stories for most of my life, there was a time I kind of put in on the back burner and pursued other interests. After taking two writing classes my last semester of college, I fell in love all over again and realized it was my true passion.
- I have more than a dozen story ideas that I am somewhat actively working on.
The genres I am currently focusing on:
- Christian romance for twenty-somethings.
- Christian young adult.
- Mainstream young adult, particularly the dystopian genre.
